A Memorable Gathering at the Get Connected - Women Entrepreneur's Event - 15 June 2024

Last Saturday, we hosted the Get Connected - Women Entrepreneur's Event, and it was an overwhelming success! Women from diverse backgrounds and walks of life came together, creating an atmosphere of togetherness and closeness that was truly inspiring.

We were honoured to welcome participants who travelled from outstation and even from Singapore, highlighting the far-reaching impact of our community.

The event featured distinguished guest speakers, including Mr. Harry Dimitriadis COO of HSJ.host from Melbourne, who provided insightful perspectives on entrepreneurship.

Our Software Expert, Mr. Prem Kumar, shared his expertise on leveraging technology for business growth, and Mr. Talal added valuable insights on industry trends.

We were also privileged to have Malaysia's renowned Serial TV Director, Mr. Ben Nambiar, who shared his exceptional work and videos. His session captivated everyone, offering a visual treat and practical insights from his career.

The unique aspect of this event was the genuine connection and camaraderie among the attendees. Our amazing and beautiful ladies mixed and mingled, forming authentic relationships and exchanging experiences. The sense of community was palpable as they supported each other, shared their journeys, and explored collaborative opportunities.

At just 11 years old, Thanashree Ambikai Lal, also known as Ambi, has transformed her passion for beadery into a force for social change through her business, Ambi Beadery. Founding her business at age nine, this young Malaysian entrepreneur uses her craft to fundraise and advocate for community issues, proving that you're never too young to make a difference.

The event was not just about listening to speakers but also about active participation. Each attendee brought something special to the table, whether it was their own entrepreneurial journey, their struggles, or their triumphs. This created a rich tapestry of experiences that everyone could learn from and be inspired by.

Get Connected is all about creating a space where individuals can share, care, support, and grow together. This event exemplified that mission, leaving everyone with valuable information, new friendships, and memories that will stay in their hearts.
